Malaysia Chicken Satay Recipe








Malaysia Satay Chicken

5 1/2 lbs Boneless and Skinless Chicken Thigh, cut strips
5 cups or 3 big onions, cut small pieces
3 bulbs garlics
3″ ginger, cut small pieces
1 cup fresh turmeric or 1/2 cup turmeric powder
1 cup fresh galangal or 1/2 cup galangal power
3 tsp cumin powder
3 tsp coriander powder
1/4 cup lemon grass power or 4 stalks lemon grass, thinly slices
3 tsp salt
100 skewers

Put # 2-10 into blender
Mixed A with #1 and marinade for an hours
Pierce 3-4 pcs of meat on each skewer.
Cook on a rack on broil, high, in an oven for 5-6 mins, turn and cook 3-4 mins.

Yes, grill them too, if you prefer.

We celebrated the New Year with this special satay. Took hours. Cooked with load of love. No leftover.
