Chinese Crispy Skin Roast Pork 燒肉




1. 1 1/2 lbs pork belly (buy it from chinese grocery store)
2. 1/2 cup of water
3. 2 pcs fermented bean curbs or 2 Tbs salt
4. 2 Tbs cooking wine
5. 1 tsp Chinese five spice powder
6. 1 tsp black pepper
7. 4 Tbs vinegar

A. Simmer #1-2 for 20 mins (10 mins each side)
B. Take it out and use a fork poke on the SKIN of the pork
C. Mixed #3-6 n rub on the MEAT, not on the skin. Marinade for 2 hrs or overnight. Place it on a roasting rack
D. Preheat oven 450 degree, bake for about 20 mins, poke gently on the SKIN and brush vinegar on the SKIN.
E. Bake for another 30 Mins
