Spicy vegan pineapple

1. 1 diced onion
2. 1/2 cups minced garlic
3. 1 tbs red pepper flakes
4. 1/2 tsp cooking oil or 2 tbs water
5. I can 439g diced pineapple or 3 cups fresh pineapple

Brown 1-4. Add #5 and cook till well blend. Serve with rice.

I followed Biren’s recipe

Except I doubled the yellow split peas to two cups
Add 1/2 pc of green bell pepper
Omit jalapeƱo peppers
Dash of cayenne pepper
I cooked them for about 45 mins to an hour
I added one tbs vegetarian bouillon
I did not used any oil at all
Just brown the onions without oil
Ya

Oil free diet

My girl begins gluten free diet last week
She had to eat it with her gluten free bread
We had Malaysian Indian roti paratha and chapatti

I bought them from the frozen department of an Indian grocery store in Tampa. I prefer to get roti canai…but…there are actually made in Shah Alam, Malaysia

Sayur Lodeh (Vegetable Curry)

Blend:
3 cups red onions, diced
2 Tbs garlic, diced
2 Tbs ginger, diced
6 candle nuts or any nuts3 Tbs, diced
Dried shrimp, soaked and washed
1-2 Tbs red pepper flakes
2 Tbs turmeric powder
1 Tbs cooking oil

Brown blended ingredients on a big skillet (Saladmaster braiser pan) till fragrant
If it is sticked on the skillet, add some water and cook with the cover on and check and cook till fragrant. I know I am being health conscious. Usually, the cook will load it with cooking oil.

Add 4-6 cups water cook on medium heat till boil (Saladmaster. Click. Low)

Add
Green beans, 1/2 lb, cut
Cabbage, 1/2 lb, cut
Jicama, 1/2 lb, cut stripes
Carrot, 1/2 lb, cut
1 bag of fried bean curbs, cut
(You can put in whatever vegetable that you like)

Cover and Cook till soft

Add
1 can of coconut milk
Salt and maple syrup
Vegetable powder, 2 tbs

Cook on medium for 10 mins
Serve with brown rice
Garnish with hardboiled egg
